I purchased this book. In the beginning your life is saved by a mermaid and your character decides to join the Royal German Marinological Society. This story reads like an apprenticeship: your character wants to prove his worth to the society by discovering mermaids. This book has decent replayability, the stats work well and there are four different endings. The romance options are unremarkable and the story could have had more depth, specifically in regards to mermaid culture and Sandoval.
I was really getting to enjoy this! Then it had to say that i needed to pay for the rest of the chapters and all my interest was lost. I really liked it too. It doesnt help people who cant buy things online.
This game had quite a promising start. It had entranced me with it's slow and steady explainations and storyline. Then suddenly at some point, it felt like everything was starting to progress too fast. One second I'm here, the next I'm halfway across the world. Or at least, it was from my perspective. The endings were disappointing... it just didn't match up to the quality of the beginning. I'd give 7/10 for the effort in the start though.
I got the live with the mermaid path but I wish you could choose to become a mermaid I thought that would make it really cool
I really loved this, but I can't figure out how to join the pirates
I really liked and I know you probably won't but I hope you expand the story or sequel it so I have something more to play as I quite enjoyed this one.
I hate that you have to pay for the last part... If you're going to make us pay, at least make it later in the game...
Why is it that if one is female then one always ends up being a lesbian in these stories? It's just laziness... Of course I have no problem with being a lesbian per session, but I being Bi myself... But it would be good to have it off with a man in one of these stories. Nice story about academia and mermaids.
Entertaining while it lasted. Hilarious. Not sure if I would purchase the full version.
The story is not too long, two hours of playing, exactly what I wanted. The writing quality is very high, and the choices do influence the outcome. I liked the achievements, too - give an extra sense of meaning. Good job!
